It resides in the Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand and is stretched with 87 sq km of beauty carried by its flowers.

Har ki Dun:

Another one of the most famous and beautiful treks in the country, Har ki Dun has its own way of impressing the trekkers with its surreal beauty as it is a large Valley Trek. Also known as the Valley of God, the place holds religious significance as well. Filled with an amazing range of flora like the Orchids, Rhododendrons, and other beautiful vegetation the place is one of the best representations of Mother Nature. Residing in the Govind Pashu Vihar National Park, it is situated at a height of 3566 mt.

Best time to visit: December to March.

Chandratal Lake:

Lake treks no doubt are one of the most preferred ones due to the elegance and charm of Lakes. One such is the Chandratal Lake Trek in the Spiti Valley. This serene lake is in a crescent shape which makes it even more aesthetic. The staggering height of 4,250 mt offers you surreal views of the surroundings which are equally beautiful. The trek is however a tough one and is not advised for beginners, due to its tough terrains and rugged surroundings.

Duration: 7-8 days

Best time to visit: mid-June to mid-October.
