India is fast emerging as a global tourist destination, thanks to its great topography. From pristine beaches to sand dunes and mighty mountains to dense forests, the country has it all. And when it comes to adapting to new travel trends, India is not far behind.
As of now, the country is experiencing the concept of caravan tourism, which has gained immense popularity all over the world because of the freedom and flexibility it offers. Now, with the Coronavirus scare, it is also one of the safer ways to travel.
In fact, the Ministry of Tourism in India, in their New Tourism Products Annual Report 2009-10, officially recognised the culture of Caravan Tourism in the country. Recently, Madhya Pradesh tourism too shared pictures of its luxury caravans on social media, inviting tourists to explore the state without compromising on social distancing norms.
