In fact, the Ministry of Tourism in India, in their New Tourism Products Annual Report 2009-10, officially recognised the culture of Caravan Tourism in the country. Recently, Madhya Pradesh tourism too shared pictures of its luxury caravans on social media, inviting tourists to explore the state without compromising on social distancing norms.

For the travel sector, these are tourism products that promote solo to family to group trips. The caravans are perfect for road trippers as these are equipped with all the essential amenities and facilities to make the trip comfortable.

India too is picking up this age-old travel trend and now that social distancing has become a necessity, such a trend is destined to pick pace.
