Overview
The Hampta Pass Trek is one of the most delightful treks lies at an altitude of 14009 ft on the Pir Panjal range located in the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh. The name Hampta Pass ignited from its location below Sethan borough.
It is one of the stunning crossover treks of India in terms of lush green to barren landscapes with a funnel shaped narrow valley.

Trek to Hampta Pass
The trek begins from the thick woodland and then enters in open valleys with lush green cover of grass then the tree line stops and you cross to Hampta Pass. The Shea Goru campsite is splendid because of the contrasting setting: from a green valley of Kullu to a starkly desolated valley of Lahaul. There are peaks with the Indrasen and Deo Tibba resemblance. Once you reach the pass, the deserts of Lahaul are a sharp drop below.
The descent is a bit tricky because of the moraine, so you have to prepare your body as you climb the pass.The challenging trek comes to an end with the brilliantly blue Chandratal lake. The Solang Valley
It is a purely gorgeous valley when filled with snow. It looks absolutely breathtaking and stunning. It has a panoramic lovely view with a fun filled environment.
