1. Saadiyat Beach, Abu Dhabi

While this one’s not really a beach where you can stroll for free, it’s worth every penny! The entry fee is AED 25 for adults, and AED 15 for children who are 6 and above. The pristine blue waters are perfect for water sports and facilities like loungers, towels, umbrellas and changing rooms are all available onsite. In addition, the beach is a haven for some of the country’s most prized wildlife.

2. Shuweihat Island

The island is located along the E11 near the border of Saudi Arabia on the western edge of the UAE. It’s best to use a four-wheel drive vehicle to get across the causeway and the rocky terrain. The island has no facilities (no store or bathrooms), so its best you top up at a mall in Ruwais- the nearest town. But the best part of this island is that it is never overrun with people. So, you can laze around, take photos, admire the unique rock formations and hidden coves. The gorgeous views, the turquoise waters and the unique rust colour of the rock make this place a haven for grammers.

3. Mirfa Beach

Located to the west of Abu Dhabi in the Al Gharbia region, Mirfa Beach is host to the annual Al Dhafra Watersports Festival, which happens every April. If you can take the long, long drive to get here, you’re in for a visual treat of the turquoise waters and the serene calmness. The beach permits camping and you can get your supplies from the nearby village. You will have to pass through this place when you’re going to or from Sir Bani Yas Island, so might as well make time for this stunning pit stop.

4. Black Palace Beach, Dubai

Also known as the Al Sufouh Beach or the Secret Beach, is rightly called so, as most people are unaware of its existence. There are no sign boards to the beach, no facilities, no restaurants, no showers, no lifeguards and, depending on the time of day, no other people. So, its just pure bliss. If you’re seeking some calm, undisturbed time by the beach, along with the views of the Burj Al Arab, this is where you should head. This might be located right in the heart of Dubai, but its just how peaceful as it can get.

5. Khor Fakkan

Overlooking the Gulf of Oman, Khor Fakkan is one beach destination everyone liked to head to for a quick getaway. The UAE coastland is naturally beautiful. You will have to trek up for 15 minutes to reach the Heart Beach, the views of which will be too hard for you to believe!
